I like video games.. this should be no suprise. one of the many genres of video gamemanship that I enjoy is the Shmup. they're simple to learn, but can be exceedingly difficult to actually play.. once you get the hang of them though, they're like a zen toy.. the more that you can empty your mind, the better you do. unfortunately, not many people make shoot `em up's anymore. pretty much all of the development is japanese because us americans seem to enjoy counterstrike and not much else.
so anyway.. a couple of guys in japan are making the coolest free games here. I highly, highly suggest downloading the first two windows games. in fact, rRootage emulates the gameplay of the 4 most popular shmups ever made.. so, yay. if you like that at all, then there's this, which is another great game that is basically an endless boss battle.
